Hydrotherapy is a form of treatment and exercise that is conducted in a heated pool with instruction by a Physiotherapist. It combines the use of hot water and a buoyancy to aid in muscle relaxation and minimise joint compression, which allows mobility and strengthening exercises to be conducted against the resistance of water.
